Creating a Resonant Team at UNSW Global

The Challenge

UNSW Global CEO engaged Kairos to work with the executive and senior management team- a group of highly talented and successful operators. The key objective was for them to become more aware of their preferred style when working in a team, and how to maximise team dynamics and strategic decision-making.

The Process

Kairos used the world-class Saville Wave psychometric tool to gather information regarding the behavioural work strengths, team roles, and development areas for the senior management and executive team. A half-day workshop explored the preferred behaviours and team roles these individuals are likely to adopt, and how they can collectively move from good to great as the leadership team. A group SWOT analysis also revealed critical information about the collective insights, functioning and priorities of the team.

The Outcomes

The UNSW Global team approached the process with a growth mindset and thus the assessment and workshop managed to encourage new ways of thinking about team dynamics. The group benefited from learning how to work more productively and positively together as a high performing unit, and with greater ease and alignment.
